This has got to be the hottest dvd set ever. I like to consider this a mainstream type show with great sex scenes and boy does season 2 deliver. If you never purchases a dvd, you have to consider this just to watch it over and over. Too good to be true.

Dante's Cove is improving with each episode. Season 2 worked on the story (and kept the "steamy" factor from the first season). The cast is one of the most attractive groups of people to ever be assmebled outside of a "Falcon" video;-) The supernatural story line IS getting better this season as well. I enjoyed "Buffy" and "Angel" and to be honest, I was let down with the first season of Dante's Cove. It felt more like a cheesey soft-core porn than an engaging story. This season the writers have worked to build a mythology around the mythical religion of "Tresum". Thea Gill is a welcome addition to the cast (she is a "good" witch this season, but is scheduled to turn a little evil next season). Also, season three will add Reichen to the cast (more eye candy). If they continue to build the story like they did in season 2, this series holds the promise of becoming one of the best gay series ever.

I don't subscribe to Here! network, but I was well in tune to all the buzz surrounding the first season of Dante's Cove. So when it came out on DVD last year, I didn't even bother renting it but instead purchased the DVD immediately. When it arrived, I sat down that Saturday night and watched the entire 6 hrs in one sitting, and was not disappointed. I found it highly entertaining with a mixture of horror, mysticism, camp, romance, sexy and beautiful to look at. It was a wonderful Saturday evening for me as I kicked back to watch this highly addictive show. There really is nothing like it past or present on television.

Dante's Cove plays out like one big romantic love story between two of the most attractive men to grace my tv screen. Charlie David and Gregory Micheal are absolutely stunning together. Their love making and kissing scenes are out of this world. If GLAAD ever decides to include gay channels such as Here! into their award shows, then these two should get a special award for the most romantic and beautiful on screen couple, ever. Forget Justin and Brian from QAF, they don't hold a candle to Toby and Kevin. So I wait in excited anticipation for June to arrive when season two is unleased.

And the really great news is that season 3 is in the works. Fortuntely, Dante's Cove is one of the highest viewed shows on here! so it was a no brainer to bring us one more season at the very least. This is great news.

I almost can not wait to own this DVD and to visit Dante's Cove again. Season one was GREAT, and if you failed to see it..... It IS must viewing before seeing season two. With all the breath taking views in season one. I feel in love with the series, and cast. Just as I started watching season two on Dish Network, they removed Here TV. Guess I will have to wait until June 2007 to catch up with the "gang" of Dante's Cove. I hope there will be a season three.

Season Two of Dante's Cove Improves greatly from the first.

A stronger script, better acting, lots of eye candy. The editing is choppy and the talented Josh Berresford is grossly underused.

Now shot in Hawaii, we are shown some breathtaking views, and that is just of the frequently nude cast.

The story picks up directly after season one.. new characters are introduced.. old friends pass on.. everybody is boinking everybody.

Face it, "Dante" will never be considered "ART", but that's ok because we visit "Dante's Cove" For the flesh and season two serves it by the heaping spoonful.
