If you remember “Sideline Secrets”, then you remember a movie that had potential to please but fell somewhat short. I was hoping that the sequel “Darker Secrets’ (Ariztical) would make up for those deficiencies but it also falls a bit short.
Peter, a young traffic cop, is asked to look through hours of sex tapes of the late psychiatrist, Dr, Tyler who was killed in “Sideline Secrets”. Some unanswered questions about one particular boy who is missing is what prompted this. As Peter looks at the photos, he becomes both intrigued and repulsed by what he sees and after watching many hours of tape, he succumbs to his own dark side and begins to hatch a twisted plot of his own. Peter realizes that he is infatuated with his straight roommate, Todd, and with the secrets he has learned from the late doctor, he plots to get Todd into his bed. Having sex with Todd is only the beginning of his downward spiral.
Now that Tyler is dead, Peter is detemined to find Matthew who went missing and it is with this that Peter loses his own self control and becomes as evil as the man who was responsible for so much pain.
The actors are good looking but not much more can be said about this movie. There is great promise here but it gets lost in a script that meanders and seems to have no structure. Everything else is lost because of this and what could have been a good movie becomes a less than mediocre one.

This movie is full of cute boys shedding their clothes against a truly twisted storyline. I have watched it about three times now. It isn't excellent cinema. The acting ranges from good to horrible. But, it isn't about the acting. It is about pushing the erotic boundaries. It does a great job of that. I would have liked to see more storyline though. If it were maybe 15-20 minutes longer, it could have been a lot better. There is some nice trickery too. Movie may be about naked boys, but the story is pretty smart!!!

I enjoyed the first SIDELINE SECRETS quite a bit. Although a very low-budget movie with room for improvement, it was a great little story with plenty of twists and turns and the cast and crew possessed a lot of potential. SIDELINE SECRETS 2 is a much different movie. It is not a bad movie. I did like it. But, you can not compaire the two films as there isn't much that connects the two of them to each other. That being said, it is still an entertaining, and VERY EROTIC, piece of film. It is dark! It is campy! It is cheesy-- parts of it play out like a telenovela (a guy is about to commit suicide then winds up having sex two seconds later, putting a stop to his dramatic plan!). I had to laugh. But, it is is good plan. Some of the lines could be delivered better. Some of the acting could be better. But, hey-- this one stands out of the crowd. Enjoyable. And HOT AS HELL!

I really enjoyed the first one cute guys and plenty of them. I was excited about the sequel ;however, very disappointed the amount of nudity and who I got to see naked.

One this that made the original "Sideline Secrets" so enjoyable, was the strong chemistry amonst the leading actors, James Townsend and Alex Wilson. I enjoyed the first film a lot and have watched it numerous times. I couldn't wait for a sequel. Finally, seeing there is indeed a sequel coming out, I am even more excited. However, where is the original cast?! How can you have a sequel to such a movie without the original cast in place? I recognize Curtis Husted and Rick Bolander from their small roles in the first film. Curtis played one of the missing boys and Rick played the frisbee player that the lead character fantasizes about... I am guessing they are now the leads. If so, great to see some familiar faces. But, as of now, I am definitely waiting for a sequel to come along that includes the previous lead actors. I really want to see their story continue... What happens next?! I am eagerly looking forward to any installment in the series!!!
