No denying, this film is a mess: disjointed, poorly filmed, poorly lit, poorly plotted. Script could've used a few dozen more rewrites. Towards the end, there are a few good scenes; but it's not worth slogging through the rest of the almost unwatchable murk to get there.

Bad lighting, bad cuts, bad sound; good story, poorly tied together, good male leads and likely a good story. I wanted to know what happened, but also wanted to fast forward through it to end it faster. I had read other reviews and thought I could enjoy the flick, but it was painful and I wish I had selected another DVD instead.

This film was such a good idea, but that's where all competence ended. One would hope that a low-budget, independent film shot with one cheap camera might at least have some "edge," but this film had nothing beyond a strikingly handsome lead. I admire the filmmaker's desire to crack the "typical dude who just happens to sleep with his best friend when he can conveniently blame it on being drunk" mystique, but the poor execution of this film ruined any chance of a coherent statement.

TLA's review is on the mark for this one. Although the original idea for the story line is a good one, the film is a real disappointment. The writing is poor, the sound quality is bad, and the lighting and cinematography are pretentious and amateurish. Good performance by Lee Rumohr but, all in all, it's a tedious 90 minutes.
