Sprightly documentary about Brigid Berlin, heiress and Warhol bad-girl. Berlin was born to the conservative publisher of the Hearst newspapers. She was bright, rich, spoiled, revolutionary and fat - much to the chagrin of her parents. Brigid joined up with the Warhol Factory people and started producing art work of a sort including: breast paintings, a cock book, recordings of her arguments with her mother and poloroids of everyone she hung out with. She became addicted to speed at an early age as a result of her being forced to diet as a teen and became quite a wild young lady - even taking a spin as a drug dealer. The documentarians visit Brigid at her Manhattan apartment where she has become an obsessive collector of Pug memorobilia and actually quite obsessed with everything including her weight and arranging her belongings in rows. Interviews with John Waters, Larry Rivers, Patricia Hearst, Paul Morrissey and Taylor Mead spice up the mix. A lively, truthful and very revealing film delving fame, fat, obsessions, underground filmmaking and art.
