Shooting Porn amusingly captures this glossy era with its cool peep at the men behind and in front of the cameras. Highly graphic, one learns the fine points of douching, fluffing, "gay for pay" straight stars, Hitler mustaches, stunt dicks and generally just how difficult it can get on the set.

Superstar award-winning porn directors Chi Chi LaRue and Gino Colbert are featured as the camera reveals the behind-the-scenes preparations and on-screen tensions and successes. Also featured are bevies of creamy porn stars from the time, including Bryan Kidd, Joshua Sterling, Rip Stone, Adam Rom and Blue Blake.

Great Documentary

This is not like watching a porn flick, but it lets you know about the behind-the-scenes dynamics on a porn set. You hear from producer extraordinaire Chi Chi LaRue. You see gay-for-pay actors. This showed enemas, fake semen, and much eye-opening stuff. This is definitely not an R-rated film, but an XXX gem. Still, it is a documentary. I recall Gino Colbert speaking as a director but never once admitting that he has been in front of the camera often. Blue Blake looks delicious as always. This was a needed and appreciated work.

I thought it was very very good! I had a completely different perspective on the movie before I got it to watch it. I have always been interested in porn and a large collection of them as we all do. Yet, I bow down to those in the porn industry. It isn't just sex, money and fame. It is actual work and any one interested in the adult industry gay or straight make sure you keep your penis hard!
