Synopsis

Turning 30 is a damn difficult thing to do, especially if you're Corey Brown; an average Joe who is depressed over getting older, being out of shape and having just been dumped by his super hot boyfriend! So his friends decide to cheer him up by taking him on a fun filled weekend – Ski Trip. I don't know what in the world Maurice Jamal was thinking. I'm sure he meant well, and I know he must've been desperate to contribute to the scarce gay black film genre, but this nasty little little number is a giant step backwards for it.

Never has there been such an unattractive, downright disgusting portrayal of ethic gay men in cinema. I don't think you'd want to meet any of these characters in person. And just when you think it can't get any worse they manage to insult deaf-mute people too.

I had the fortune of seeing this before Noah's Arc premiered on Logo, and to my relief I was able to, in some form, forget about this travesty called Ski Trip.

If you want a black gay romantic comedy, check Noah out instead. Or for a serious and sophisticated drama, rent the film Brother to Brother.

Don't watch this even if you're offered a free copy. Yes, it's THAT bad.
