Any fears that the bad boy of queer cinema would sell-out in this, his self-acknowledged "heterosexual film," can rest easy, for although Araki has a larger budget, the drama delivers undiluted, near hallucinogenic fun. Dripping with homoerotic undertones, foul language ("I feel like a gerbil smothering Richard Gere's butt hole"), violence that borders on the sadistic and sex scenes that should moisten the pants of many a viewer, this wild satire revels in mocking middle American values.

What began as a simple date for teen lovers Amy (Rose McGowan) and Jordon (James Duval) escalates into chaos after they become involved with hunky thug X (Jonathan Schaech.) X gets them involved in a Quickie Mart robbery that turns deadly after he blows the head off the Asian cashier. With their bloody Twinkies in hand, the three escape into the neon night. Watch as Amy and Jordon make love and as X secretly jerks off to the sights (he hungrily disposes of his cum...) Watch as Amy cheats with X as Jordan whacks off. Watch as the two guys make goo-goo eyes at each other and then finally get it on. Buckle up for this viciously funny, tumultuously nihilistic ride through a hellish California in this teens-on-the-run masterpiece.
